Father's Day Weekend At Kelly Lake

We had a fun filled weekend in Northern Wisconsin with Mom and Dad Haddon, The Maples and the Ongmans.  Melissa had some friends up as well bringing the total of people to 21.  Josh made the comment that there was a lot of food coming out of the kitchen at all hours of the day.  Steve was showing off some of his slalom abilities.  Thanks especially to Ongmans and especially Uncle Kirk for driving the boat non stop!  The kids will remember this for a long time!

Dancing with the Rock Stars

Ben had a 5th grade dance at school.  He thought it was going to be lame.  I totally had to convince him to go.  He wasn't even sure if any friends were going.  You were asked to dress as your favorite "star".  If you throw a video game element at him, he tends to agree to things.  So he dressed as Slash, from Guns N'Roses and Guitar Hero.  And won the best dressed contest for a boy.  The girl winner had dressed as country singer Taylor Swift.  He had a blast.

Molly, my friend I shared my party with, received a crucifix as a present. It had dirt from Bethlehem. Nicely secured into glass. Guess what? It broke!

More Communion Weekend shots

Eliza had the treat of having her hair and nails done by professionals--Melissa and Aunt Laurie. She admitted to me today that she was getting a bit antsy during the process, but she was so happy with the results,  and she felt so pretty.
